MEDICAL GRADE CHEMICAL PEELS

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother.  Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin, and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures. And they can be done at different depths, from light to deep. Deeper chemical peels offer more dramatic results but can also take longer to recover from.

How many treatments are required?

Since everyone’s starting point is different the number of treatments varies from patient to patient, however, most patients will need a series of 3-6 treatments done at least 4 weeks apart to achieve the desired results. Dr. Manning also recommends doing at least a single peel every season for general maintenance and care.

Is there any downtime?

There shouldn’t be significant downtime other than a few days of “social downtime”.  This includes avoiding makeup in the first 48 hours, being extremely diligent with sun protection in the first few weeks, and skin sloughing on days 3-7 post-treatment.

Is maintenance required?

With a light or medium peel, you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results, typically 3-6 treatments in a row are necessary.  For the best general maintenance and care, we recommend a peel every 3 months, or seasonally.

MICROTOX

This treatment is an innovative approach to skin rejuvenation that involves a noninvasive treatment where neuromodulators, such as Botox, are placed superficially into the skin, rather than the muscle.

The results are a lifted and firming effect, while also decreasing pore size, clearing acne, improving redness/hyperpigmentation, and improving skin laxity. A dilute solution of Botox, which ensures microscopic amounts, is injected superficially into the skin either via microneedling deposition or direct superficial injection.

How many treatments are required?

You will notice results even with a single treatment. It can be repeated every 10-12 weeks and maintained at that interval for continued support and improvement.

Is there any downtime?

Little to none! There is a chance of bruising and redness after the treatment, however, this tends to be minimal with essentially complete improvement within 3-5 days.

Is maintenance required?

Not necessarily, however, given the improvement in your skin, you can maintain with treatments every 10-12 weeks.

INTENSE PULSED LIGHT PHOTOREJUVENATION (IPL)

IPL treats hyperpigmentation, sun damage, age spots, and broken capillaries while boosting collagen and elastin for maximum anti-aging benefits. This innovative treatment has been shown to reverse aging on a cellular level when done consistently. We suggest an initial package of 4 sessions with quarterly maintenance appointments.

How many treatments are required?

3-4 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Is there any downtime?

Little to none! The reds and the browns in the skin that are being treated may appear darker within the first 48 hours, but should easily be covered with mineral makeup. Over the next 10-14 days you’ll notice the pigment beginning to dissipate away.

Is maintenance required?

We recommend 1 treatment every 3-4 months to maintain, but can be done on a much more regular basis.

RESURFX SKIN RESURFACING

Resurfx Skin Resurfacing is a non-fractional, non-ablative skin rejuvenation treatment that stimulates the production of new collagen and elastic fibers in the deeper layers of the skin. It’s designed to achieve noticeable results for fine lines, and overall skin appearance. Over a sequence of 3-4 treatments, deep collagen is regenerated for noticeably more radiant, youthful-looking skin.  This treatment is optimally tailored to address signs of aging with minimal downtime, which makes this procedure perfect for your busy lifestyle.

This treatment can be combined with an IPLPhotorejuvenation is a way to address sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and broken capillaries. It can also induce collagen and elastin to address texture issues such as fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, and enlarged pores at the same time.

3-4 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Is there any down time?

24-48 hours of “social” down time, meaning you may appear sunburned and slightly swollen but you should be able to resume normal activities the next day. Some slight dryness and/or flaking can occur.

Is maintenance required?

We recommend 1 treatment every 3-4 months to maintain collagen production, but can be done on a much more regular basis.

MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a procedure that uses controlled puncture of the skin with many tiny needles and is typically done with a pen. It stimulates collagen and elastin to improve fine lines, skin texture, and pore size and addresses pigment concerns.

  • Safe for all skin types.

  • Creates thousands of microchannels in the skin for maximum product penetration.

  • Can be done with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) AKA the Vampire Facial

  • Great option for skin with severe melasma.

  • Minimal downtime! 24 hours of redness (comparable to a sunburn).

  • Recommend 3-4 treatments, spaced 2-3 weeks apart.

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) FACIAL

We start with a simple blood draw and use a centrifuge to spin out your plasma. Then, instead of microneedling with one of our pharmaceutical strength serums, we use your PRP. The benefits of PRP cannot be recreated in any cosmetic, cosmeceutical, or pharmaceutical product because it’s our body’s own cells with the growth factors creating new tissue and healthy skin.

The benefits of PRP:

  • Reduce fine lines and wrinkles

  • Tighten and tone skin

  • Brighten uneven skin tone

  • Improve mild collagen and volume loss

  • Improve crow’s feet and dark undereye circles

  • Shrink large pores and smooth rough texture

  • Smooth acne scars

  • Help even rosacea-prone skin

MORPHEUS 8

Morpheus is a revolutionary non-surgical tissue remodeling treatment that creates a remarkable improvement in skin quality, tone, texture, and tightness. The secret behind Morpheus lies in how it penetrates deep into the skin, delivering fractional radiofrequency energy to promote skin renewal.  It combines microneedling and fractional radiofrequency energy. This system consistently delivers stunning results for people who want to tighten skin, smooth wrinkles and restore a more youthful look to sagging, aging skin all with no surgery required.

Morpheus uses tiny needles to penetrate the skin, thus creating microscopic injuries that trigger natural regeneration, increasing the production of collagen and elastin.  It differs from other microneedling and radiofrequency treatments because it can deliver energy into the subdermal layer to recontour and remodel the underlying tissue.

A treatment with Morpheus8 will slim, sculpt, and remodel your tissue for a dramatic improvement in tone, texture, and tightness. This treatment reduces the visibility of scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks.  The results of treatment improve day by day and keep improving over 6 months as your body produces greater quantities of skin-firming and volumizing collagen. The RF technology will not damage the surrounding tissues for faster healing.

The treatment can be applied to the face, décolletage, or any area of the body where the skin is losing its youthful, supple quality. This revolutionary system creates results that are very close to what is achieved with surgery.

How many treatments are required?

3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart

Is there any down time?

Morpheus is a non-invasive procedure and has no real downtime. Your skin may feel a bit hot and look slightly sunburned for up to one week.

Is maintenance required?

The results from the Morpheus are essentially permanent given the thermal contraction that happens at the tissue level.  However, given that we can’t stop the clock of aging, you may want to get maintenance Morpheus treatments 1-2 times per year.  The collagen and elastin stimulation from Morpheus treatments last for up to 6 months which means your results keep improving for 6 months after your treatment.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL/PERMANENT HAIR REDUCTION

Laser Hair Removal is now quicker and more comfortable than ever before.  With our technology, we can treat most skin types. We recommend scheduling a consultation first, followed by an initial package of 6 treatments with maintenance appointments as needed to treat new follicle growth.

How many treatments are required?

6 treatments, spaced 5-6 weeks apart.

Is there any downtime?

None!

Is maintenance required?

Unfortunately, our hair follicles never stop producing (which is why we call this permanent hair reduction) so we recommend a maintenance session when you start noticing new hair growth.
